Saif Lakhani, the greenest of them all

Saif Lakhani, a 15-year-old student from the city won the first prize at the ‘Environmental Awareness Programme’ held by the Jim Corbett Organization. He stood first among the 50,000. A gold medal and certificate of excellence was awarded to him for his achievement by the organizers.
This bright child has already won prizes and acclamations in different competitions earlier. He was the first Hungama TV captain in 2006 and won a scholarship of Rs 1 lakh the same year. In 2007, he became the runner up at a national quiz on ‘New and Renewable Energy’ organized by Zee TV and Anupam Kher. He also won the National Youth Awards in 2007.
